Avian Medicine and Care

Most of the illnesses we see in birds are related to poor husbandry, including years of poor-quality seed diets, exposure to cooking and household smoke, and lack of fresh air and sunlight.

The most important things you can do to assure your bird’s health are:

  • Feed Harrison’s Organic Bird Foods or another organic pellet
  • Provide daily fresh water and exercise
  • Provide 8-12 hours of full spectrum UVB light daily
  • Provide music, video, toys,  interaction and play time for your intelligent bird partner
Services available to your birds:
  • Wellness Exams
  • Illness Exams
  • Diagnostic bloodwork
  • Radiology and Ultrasonography
  • Surgery
  • Cold Laser Therapy
